SnapChat was actually created by the - The founder says that he created it because kids craft- All of us craft our online identity. So it takes out the joy out of communicating. Communication is often real time, or it used to be real time. And real time is real life. That's what you want. So, SnapChat was supposed to create more of a real time communication. So, what SnapChat is, you can write something or send a photo or short video, I believe. And it goes to the intended person you are sending it to. And once they open it; as long as their finger is on it, they can watch it. They can read it. It's sort of like instant communication. And when their finger goes off, it disappears after 15 to 20 seconds. And it disappears not only of their screen but it also disappears off the server. However, kids think there is no consequences. And the danger, many people think, is that kids may send a photo that they think can't be spread all over, that's an inappropriate photo or some words that are inappropriate. And, in fact, you could actually take a screenshot, even though by keeping the finger on it. It's meant to stop you from taking a screenshot, but as we all know the internet is permanent, things can be permanent, things can spread. It's important still to talk to your child, even though they may feel like "Oh, we've got no way. From the fact that these - Something that I take that it's inappropriate. Only the person that I'm sending to will see." That's not always the case. It can be spread, it can be documented. It can be retrieved.
