I am Michael Bradley. I am a psychologist, author and lecturer. I specialize in adolescence. Which means teenagers and their families. My best credentials are my family. I have a wife who is an ex-therapist and teaches a lot of the kids that I work with that have difficulties at school. And I have 2 children. I have a 22 year old son named Ross. And a 15 year old daughter named Sarah. And those two children are my best credentials. Anything that I bring to the game of working with teenagers came from raising teenagers. I am not sure it is something you can do unless you have been through it yourself . For fun, believe it or not, what I love to do is, hammer, cut wood, build things, concrete you name it. My neighbors think I am nuts. When I get some time, it feels wonderful. I guess that's because what I do is so vague, unstructured, un-concrete. That I just love doing something concrete and be able to step back and see its done. Which is sort of like parenting kids. Because it is really vague and unstructured. And you don't know what the heck is going on for a while. But you'll find out down the road, My son Ross is the proof of it . He is fantastic.
