You want to create a baby safe zone around the crib. You want to keep the crib away from windows, pieces of art on the wall, and that one include peel-off, the sticker the cow art that's available now. You want to make sure the alley covers are secure, as well as, the furniture in the room secure to the wall. And the cribs, you want to make sure it has a JPMA label on it : Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association. That means it was designed with your child's safety in mind. Drop down side cribs are banned. They are no longer manufactured and cannot be resold. When you have the mattress in the crib, you want to make sure that you can just get two fingers in the side, you want it to fit snugly in the crib. You don't want to use bumpers, pillows, and fluffy blankets in the crib. If you have a toy chest in the room, you want to make sure the lid is either removable, or the lid will stay open at any angle. You want to make sure that the lap in the room, especially if it's a floor lap, is secured so that your child cannot pull that over.
