If you are worried your child might have an eating disorder, it's really important to look for certain symptoms, like are they trying to be perfect. Are they worried about their grades being perfect. Do they have a lot of, kind of, behaviors around food that seem a little bit strange. Are they getting on the scale every morning and every night. Are they obsessively checking out their weight. And does it determine how their day is going to be. Are they cutting out certain foods. Or certain food groups. Or starving all day, not really eating all day, and then maybe finding foods in their room at night-time. Are they running to the bathroom right after they're eating. Those are some signs and symptoms to be looking for with eating disorders.
