Lovable foods are part of the Well Springs solution to weight loss problems. They are a very important part. When you get young people involved in the process themselves, of losing weight and keeping it off, you are looking at potentially creating a state of deprivation with that. So in looking at that principle that is, find lovable foods that love you back. What that encourages people to do is to look for alternative foods that are fun and interesting to them so that it decreases that deprivation. There are bison burgers, instead of regular burgers, that have a quarter of the fat. There are alternatives to peanut butter, and they have almost no fat versus a huge amount of fat in peanut butter. So finding the foods that kids are going to like and not think is horrible. This is just good for my health. Bring that attitude into the home, and that can make a world of difference.
