Hormones are in charge of changing your body during puberty. Hormones are chemical messengers that are sent through your blood. They go from your brain and other organs. They go from other organs to your brain. It's kind of like text messaging in your body. Hormones tell breasts to grow, hips to grow wider, pubic hair start to grow, body odors to begin. They really are in charge of coordinating the whole process of puberty. The hormones are in charge from the time the girl starts going into puberty, around 8 years old, all the way until she is done, sometime around 15, 16, or 17.
