I would say the best tips for talking to your teen about sex and puberty and what’s going on with their body and the questions that they have about sexuality altogether, is to keep it very simple, very age appropriate. If they’re asking about, you know, their skin, why is their skin breaking out, that’s very normal, you teach them hygiene. If they’re asking why they’re feeling certain ways about girls and things, that’s very normal – look it, “I was your dad’ girlfriend before I was his wife. And you get this feeling, oh, you can’t live without that person.” It’s all very normal. And you just have an open dialogue. And then, because I’m a mother of three boys, I ship them over to their dad to talk.
