So, if you were trying to get back into the workforce after taking time off, you want to really own your story. And once you have command of your own story, it is very important also to keep your network warm. Go back to those old contact. Keep in touch with them. If you haven't, don't be afraid to get back in touch. And I always say, describe yourself as someone who loves to work. Because, most employers are concerned about taking on someone who has been out of the workforce. They're concerned that they're not going to enjoy the work or its going to be a problem with their schedule. So, you want to describe yourself as someone who has always loved to work and you've missed work. And you can't wait to get right back in and dive into it again. I also like to tell mom's who've been out of the workforce for a little bit, read everything you can. Be experts on your industry. Even if you haven't been working. Know who the players are. Know what the trends are. Know what's been going on. And really do your research. And the other thing is to always stay tech savvy. Because, the world is moving at such a rapid cliff and if you don't keep up with it, people are going to consider you irrelevant to the workforce. So, keep yourself tech-savvy so that you maintain your relevancy to the work force.
