As a mom it's so important to make time for yourself on a daily basis, and not enough moms do this. And what I always recommend is carving out a half-hour, at least, each night that you are either reading a book, you're watching TV with your partner, whatever you're doing it's something that's taking your mind off of the day, off of your career, off of your kids, and it's just doing something that you enjoy each night. And you need this to rejuvenate yourself so the next day you're energetic and ready to take everything on. One last thing, it's essential that we all take one night out a week to spend time with other adults. If you're a single mom it's going out with friends or on a date, and if you're married it's with your partner. You absolutely need that like a car needs gas, that's your fuel.
