Acknowledging the differences that your children exhibit from yourself or your partner or maybe other siblings is really going to be the key to dealing with those challenges, especially if you find that there's one child in particular that is perhaps a little more negative or is slower to respond, especially in regards to transitioning. You know, you get to know your children as they get older, of course, but from a younger age it can be more of a challenge. And I definitely recommend that you use that as a strength rather than see that as a weakness. And by that I mean, you know, if you know one child is going to take longer to transition, then let them know ahead of time, the night before, what to expect. Lay out a schedule, whether that's telling them what that looks like or having a calendar for older children, or even a written schedule that they know what to anticipate, and those transitions won't be as frustrating for everyone.
