I get asked this question as a rabbi almost daily, "How do I talk to my kids about God?" The truth is, you don't know God, so you don't have that much to say, so here's your challenge, I want you to start uncovering what God means for you, that way you can help your children formulate their own questions. Make sure not to give God a gender, make sure that you don't project your own thoughts and ideas about God onto them, let them ask. What they'll discover is each one of us has our own very different understanding, and that's what makes God, God - something that is beyond understanding, but to each one of us, very personal.
