It's a hard conversation to have with your child. How do you tell them that they're different from everybody else without making them feel so different? Tell them stories, and I've got a great one. Moses, the greatest leader of the Jewish people, had a stutter. That was the label he was born with, but that was not his lasting legacy. His legacy was what he modeled for everyone. So, give your children all the role models that struggle with their differences, and show them what they've become. Because what you want to tell your child is, "You are not your label. You are becoming, and that the wide world is open to you."
