The STDs that are most prevalent today in the United States are Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. We see it especially amongst our teens.
1 out of every 4 adolescents will have Chlamydia or Gonorrhea, and we also see that a lot of individuals before the age of 25 – 1 out of every 2 – will end up with some sort of sexually transmitted infection.
The way that they are acquired is through bodily fluids. The five bodily fluids that transmit it are blood, semen, vaginal fluid and breast milk. Pre-ejaculatory fluid also can transmit the infection.
