Birth mothers are looking for the two things in their lives which are lacking. They are looking for somebody with financial stability and who is in a stable relationship. If you have those requirements, birth mothers are happy. They are not going to look too much at your age, they don't care much about your religion, they may not even really care if you have other children. They want to make sure the child is going into a safe and secure home. I have had people as old as 70 who have adopted. I have had gays and lesbians who have adopted, single people who have adopted, people of all different religions who have adopted. None of those issues are particularly important to birth mothers. Some may want the child to go to a religious family and some may want to go to a particular age. In most cases, they are really only looking for a financially secure and emotionally secure environment for their child.
