Let's talk about where GMOs are hiding in your grocery store. When you walk into an average grocery store, about 85% of the things you find in there are genetically modified, or made from ingredients that are genetically modified. It's pretty much everything that's packaged. When you get down to it, we have some basic plants, and it's sugar, it's canola, it's soy, it's aspertame. And that's pretty much in everything. Now why is it in everything? You're thinking like corn. Corn is a preservative. They've made corn and soy into like 50-gajilion kinds of preservatives. And so you can go online and just Google hidden GMOs. Just go online one day and look at the list. And I swear to you the second you see the list of what all the ingredients are, your jaw will drop to the ground because chances are most of your cabinet has things that are genetically modified. That's the average person. Now you don't know that it's genetically modified. And most people don't know. You have to research to know. And that's not fair. You should be told on the label. It should be clearly labeled. But they're not. Now why is this a big thing? Well in Europe, the public scientists - these are the scientists that are not being paid by the bio-tech companies, they're not being paid by the food companies, the ones that are completely independent - they're finding ties from GMOs to obesity. Obesity is related to GMOs. It's also related to a lot of other things like cancer. Oh boy! Can't get you started on cancer. In America, we have the number one rates of cancer. We also have the number one rates of GMOs. Now I can't say the one equals the other, but come on! We've got to do something about the food supply.
