One of the things that I am very open about is my own eating disorder, not bulimia. I don't have anorexia. I am an over eater, and I have had that since I was a little girl. Essentially what it is, is that anytime I am nervous or feel sad, depressed or anything I would go to food. That is how I would make myself feel better. If I was sad I would eat. If I was happy I would eat. I mean if I was nervous I would eat. I would be eating constantly. Losing 100 pounds and having an eating disorder is quite a feet but it is very possible. But if you are somebody who has an obsession with food, and that is really what I would talk about it as an obsession. It is very tied to your emotions you might have an eating disorder just like me. You know what it doesn't own you.If you feel like you might have an eating disorder, I have 1 piece of advice for you. Your weight does not define you. You define you. You are who you are regardless of what size you are. I am the same person now as I was when I was a size 22. I got to tell you something. There is hope out there. When you are emotionally drawn into eating there are things that you can do to stop yourself from doing it to much. It is kind of like tricking yourself into better behavior. But over a period of years you can get a hold of it.
