My daughter has a feeding tube. She was never able to eat by mouth. She has a tube. It's called a gastronomy tube. She also has developmental delays, where she is 20 months now, but she is just crawling. Other conditions that she faces, she has a paralyzed vocal cord from a surgery that she had to fix her heart condition. She also had retinopathy of prematurity, which is a conditions where the blood vessels in the eyes can grow a little funny, and it can lead to blindness. In Charlotte's case, she was able to have surgery, but she does have visual impairment because of it.
