In your settings menu, it's a very simple thing to do, you want to check out the restrictions. You go into settings, and then into general, and from there, you want to check on your restrictions. Here you'll have to set up your very own passcode. This is not the passcode to the phone. It's just the passcode for the restrictions. You put in your passcode. And now you can enable or disable lots of different features. One of my favorite things to do is to take a look at the app restrictions. When you pull up the app restrictions, you can say you do not want to allow applications to be downloaded that are 12 and older and 17 and older. This will stop your kids from being able to get to social networks and adult content without you knowing about it first.
