When parental controls interfere with child's homework

It's time to turn off the filters when it starts to get in the way of your child being able to access information for school. However, you don't have to take a total step back from being a parent. There's something called a weblog that will allow you to see every place your child goes online, even if they private browse or clear their history. Then your child knows that what he or she does is not private and that mom or dad still has a watchful eye on it. However, the filters may be causing more problems then they are solving. If you, as a parent, constantly walk into the room putting in your parental password so that you child can access the information, it's time to turn it off.
