What is the Allergy Kids Foundation? It is an organization that I started to help inspire and educate parents when it came to protecting the health of their children. And originally, it was born out of this desire to protect children with allergies, but what I quickly learned was that one in three kids now has allergies, autism, ADHD, or asthma. And the medical team that I worked with had emphasized that allergies can be common in all of those conditions. And I realized that it was reaching a much larger audience, and that one of the very first things that any parent has to do when their child is diagnosed with allergies is to begin to read labels. And so, Allergy Kid really serves as an on ramp for parents that are coming into this movement, and they are waking up to the changes that have been introduced into the food supply, and it offers reassurance. It offers the kind of help that you need. It provides resources and contacts, so that parents feel inspired, and empowered, and capable, and in control of what can feel like an out-of-control situation.
