Well, I think one of the biggest cons of homeschooling is that people really struggle to let the homeschool be their own experience. Oftentimes, they try to fit the homeschool into the traditional school model and then, they’re going to have problems. They feel like they need to stay on a strict schedule. They feel like they need to do things in a certain way and that’s where a lot of the tensions come and a lot of times, people really struggle with homeschooling. I think that one of the other cons for homeschooling is that… the fact that folks a lot of times have to deal with the perceptions of others and sometimes, they can’t do that. A lot of times there will be negatives that might be in the family, because someone doesn’t want the child to be homeschooled – the grandparents might think that it’s a wrong choice. And so people experience that and that creates a lot of tension and makes it difficult.
