I think that it's so important to be, again, intentional about how you talk to your children about sex and to have a plan for how you're going to communicate that to them, to understand that your doing it informally. But from a formal perspective, one of the things that we've done in our family is that we've chosen 11 as that age where we're going to have that formal conversation with our kids. And so we take them away for what we call our "purity weekend" and we have a wonderful weekend together with just that one child. I take my daughter, my husband has taken our sons. And during that weekend we listen to a great series of tapes about purity. Purity of mind, body, spirit and attitude. We have lots of wonderful conversations and at the end we ask our children to make a pledge, to choose to make a pledge of whether or not they want to be pure in these different areas. And we cement that agreement with a memento. For my daughter, I gave her a ring and it was her purity ring that she wears and that she wants to someday give to her husband as a token of her purity.
