I think, for the most part, our kids would say that they have loved being home schooled. In many ways, it's helped them to live life on their own terms and yet, the way that we've chosen to do it with lots of different configurations. Sometimes we work in a group with other people. Some subjects we do totally on our own. My High Schooler goes to a home school High School to do Chemistry and has had the opportunity to work with other people. I would say for my kids, they would say, "I like being home schooled because it gave us the opportunity to live life on our own terms. I would say, the down parts, are when they had that sense that they might have had to do things that other kids didn't have to do. For example, yes, you do a lot of chores when you are home schooled because you are home to do them and it's part of family life. But I would say, for the most part, they really felt like they were able to live life on their own terms.
