Well, I think that, you know, that whole launching thing is a big deal. Because first and foremost, for most parents, you really don’t think it’s ever going to happen and so you begin this dance around that with your child. And the challenges that come up are, as you both are trying to separate, you know, things get really messy. But the most important thing to understand, and what helped me through that the most, and I think also my son, was for me to know that my son didn’t belong to me. He never did. For me, I had to really say, “No, God, you really gave me this sweet person as a gift and that gift, the season of that gift, is done. And now my gift to the world is to release this person with joy out to the world as my gift to the world.” He never belonged to me, he doesn’t belong to me now. But now he belongs to the world as a wonderful gift.
