I forecast, and so it's hard for me to give them alone time. They all want alone time, Mommy, and Daddy time. And so we really have to plan it out. What my husband and I do is a lot of times, once a week, maybe once every two weeks, we just take 1 kid out to dinner. If Mommy and Daddy go to dinner, the rest stay home, and one gets to go. They love that. That's like their special time. We also take -when my husband and I both take a vacation at least twice a year -just 1 kid. So my husband takes 1, or I take 1. They get to spend that whole vacation just themselves. They love it, and they really look forward to it. They don't seem to mind when 1 leaves, because they know their time is coming up. And they always look forward to it. That's how we really get quality time with our children.
