To be a good parent you really need to be a person, I think, that has a high level of self-knowledge. And for me, the way that I have a high level of self-knowledge, is because I have knowledge of my creator and I have a relationship with God. And in that comes who I am, tells me what I've screwed up, helps me to understand when I'm doing the right thing. And because of that relationship with God, then what that does for me is that that allows me to be the best parent I can be for my child. And in that, it helps me with my values, it helps me with my actions, it helps me with my love – it helps me to do all the things that I think are really important to be a good parent. And so my golden nugget is to know yourself and the best way to know yourself is to get in touch with your creator.
