Transcription:
Some of the earlier signs of narcissism can actually be detected in a child in later adolescence, so while narcissism is a normal part of the developmental cycle of children and early adolescence, you might begin to see more disturbing signs that can lead to some problems later on. One example of that will be a child which has not been given the opportunity to develop more autonomy, meaning, muscling through the tough times of life, when the parents jump in too much, too soon, to rescue to fix, to bring about comfort esp when a child may have a life lesson preparing them to live in the world. You can begin to see the child growing quickly frustrated, unable to tolerate the stress of taking on a project that would be appropriate for them to be able to handle, school work for example. Too much dependency, false treating a child, is not developing the need to be able to deal frustration.
