Picking the right school whether it is private or public is a challenge for parents. Let me talk a minute about the private segment. Many parents fall into the danger of trying to pick the most prestigious private school in their community. But when you are picking private, the most important thing is does that individual school match the learning needs of my child. Will my child thrive in that environment? That is what you want to be picking. And that means that Johnny may be in one private school, Mary may be in another private school, and public school may be the best place for the third child to thrive. The issue with picking school placements is looking to match the needs and that means academic and learning style with the child so the school becomes the most positive experience.
