Signs of an unhealthy relationship are if someone is constantly having to defer what they want to do as an individual to constantly focus on the needs of the relationship. I say that, but what I mean is if someone is uncomfortable in the relationship. If you are a cheerleader and go to the pep rally. You are wearing your outfit and your boyfriend says, "Hey, I want you to take that off the minute the pep rally is over because I don't want anyone seeing you like that." That's a red flag. A red flag is an indication that there may be power and control issues developing, but also leading to an abusive relationship. Anytime that someone has to sacrifice something that is not normal, that can be an abusive relationship.
